The evolving science and process of “processed” foods…this is the question! These days when we refer to healthy eating, we hear a lot about local, seasonal, farm fresh, farm to table, wholesome, real food, and UNprocessed. We are told if you don’t understand what’s on the label, don’t eat it. We hear about food deserts, that’s food “deserts”, not “desserts”……….
Are you tired of the same ol’, same ol’ food tastes, do you need to spice it up this summer? Bright fresh green herbs awaken our senses after a delicate spring. Basil, cilantro, thyme, chives, mint, arugula, & Swiss chard all simply sing & shout in beautiful herb sauces. And, most of these are grown & sold locally by my friend, Nicky, from Herberia Farms in Aurelia, Iowa.
